2012 Anti-Bullying Contests!

The Gloucester County Community Partnership Anti-Bullying Subcommittee has conducted three different contests for students.
 
2012 High School Video Production Contest
 

The purpose of the Gloucester County High School Video Production Contest is to encourage and challenge student groups to use their creativity in producing an educational video on the topic of bullying.  Bullying can take many forms and can target a person’s race, religion, appearance, gender, sexual preference, or other identifying characteristic.  Bystanders to bullying play an important role and can either encourage or discourage bullying behavior.  The winning team will be the one that produces the most interesting, creative video which captures the message of the danger(s) of bullying and the need to be tolerant and respectful of others. All students will be recognized for their participation in this endeavor.

 

2012 Middle School Original Poetry or Original Play Contest

 

The purpose of the Gloucester County Middle School Original Poetry or Play Contest is to encourage and challenge student groups to use their creativity in producing an educational poem or play on the topic of bullying.  Bullying can take many forms and can target a person’s race, religion, appearance, gender, sexual preference, or other identifying characteristic.  Bystanders to bullying play an important role and can either encourage or discourage bullying behavior.  The winning team will be the one that produces the most interesting, creative poem or play which captures the message of the danger(s) of bullying and the need to be tolerant and respectful of others. All students will be recognized for their participation in this endeavor.

 

2012 Elementary School Poster Contest

 

The purpose of the Gloucester County Elementary School Poster Contest is to encourage and challenge student groups to use their creativity in producing an original work of art on the topic of bullying.  Bullying can take many forms and can target a person’s race, religion, appearance, gender, sexual preference, or other identifying characteristic.  Bystanders to bullying play an important role and can either encourage or discourage bullying behavior.  The winning team will be the one that produces the most interesting, creative poster which captures the message of the danger(s) of bullying and the need to be tolerant and respectful of others. All students will be recognized for their participation in this endeavor.
