Child Advocacy Center Open House
CACs are facilities that provide a multi-disciplinary response to child abuse by enabling law enforcement, prosecutors, child protective services and mental health professions to work together as a collaborative team to investigate and prosecute cases of child abuse. CACs work to minimize trauma by providing a child friendly atmosphere ensuring that children are not further victimized by the systems intended to protect them. |

Formerly known as the Gloucester County Community Partnership Program, GCCR continues to be a collaboration of law enforcement and community leaders dedicated towards improving the quality of life of county residents by identifying critical concerns within the community and formulating crime prevention strategies to help address those issues. Clayton Crime Watch Event on 4/13
Detective
Lauren Franklin (Clayton Police Department) and Sergeant Danielle LoRusso
(Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office) will be speaking at the Clayton Crime
Watch on Wednesday April 13th, 2016. They will discuss "Drug
Awareness in the Community". The topics that will be addressed
are; types of drugs that are prevalent in the Clayton Community, how
citizens can help police combat illegal drugs in the community, resources
available to friends or loved ones who may have a drug abuse problem, and they
will speak about some previous successful drug arrest operations. Det.
Lauren Franklin is a 16 year veteran with the Clayton Police Department has
been assigned to the Detective Bureau since 2008. He has attended the
prestigious top gun school and has executed numerous search warrants and has
made a multitude of drug related arrests throughout his career. Sgt. Danielle
LoRusso is a member of the Gloucester County Prosecutors Office and
has 23 years of narcotics experience. She has spoken to
law makers on Capitol Hill on how to combat the opiate epidemic
that America is facing. She is currently heading up the Gloucester
County Opiate Initiative. Clayton Crime Watch meetings are open to the public and citizens from Clayton and other nearby communities are encouraged to attend. The meeting will take place at 7 PM at the Clayton Borough Hall, Court Room located at 125 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ 08312. |
